<p>Since 1984, <strong>Galaxy Integrated Technologies</strong> has been designing and installing state-of-the-art security systems for a variety of commercial, government, education and health care properties across New England, New York, and New Jersey.<br><br>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Security Service Technician</strong> that possesses hands-on experience in providing service to access control, nurse call, intercoms, public announcement, &nbsp;network, cabling, door hardware and CCTV systems, is comfortable working in the field, and knows how to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.</p> <p><strong>In this role you will... </strong></p> <ul> <li>Install, program, trouble shoot and service low voltage security systems</li> <li>Work with platforms including Lenel, S2, Axis, Motorola, Avigilon, and DMP, Securecare, Ascom, Tektone, CCure, Genetech and others</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve system issues on demand</li> <li>Trouble alarm monitoring setup and integration challenges</li> <li>Maintain clean, professional work and strong customer communication</li> <li>Collaborate with service manager, project managers and field teams to address customer service request on demand.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You've got what it takes if you have...</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of field experience with access control, CCTV, door hardware, low voltage electronic system, IP cameras, intercoms, nurse call etc.</li> <li>Proficiency with Lenel, S2, Ccure, Axis, Genetec, Brivo, Motorola, Avigilon, and Burglary Alarm systems are required; certifications are preferred.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team</li> <li>Clean driving record and ability to pass background check</li> <li>Customer first mindset and professional demeanor</li> </ul> <p><em>The duties, responsibilities, and requirements listed above are not all inclusive of potential requirements for all assignments covered under this job description.</em></p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take home service vehicle</li> <li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision</li> <li>Five days of PTO in year one (<em>Accrued</em>)</li> <li>Five days of sick time per year (<em>Accrued</em>)</li> <li>Monthly cell phone stipend</li> <li>401k with company match</li> <li>Paid time off for Major Holidays</li> <li>Ongoing training and development</li> <li>Advancement opportunities</li> <li>Pay range for current technicians is
